This is at the heart of what we do, all our trainers have a real understanding of what drivers face every day. By attending our courses, you not only get the certification you need but walk away with practical advice for your long term benefit.
We understand that, for some, the classroom environment can be daunting. Therefore, we tailor each and every session to the drivers in the room, whether you are starting out your career in the transport industry or are a seasoned professional driver. We are passionate about making our courses engaging as we believe there is no point in boring, uninspiring teaching.
Our Jaupt approved suite of 12 modules are engaging and interactive whichever learning environment you choose!
Each of our above modules are 3.5 hours and are paired together to make up a morning and afternoon full day, 7 hour session. Each 7 hour session counts towards the total 35 hours of periodic training needed to update your DQC. We offer the flexibility to book the days you need, that fit within your schedule to top-up your hours, or the full 5 day, 35 hour course. We ensure that all our modules are suitable for everyone, from experienced professional drivers to those just starting out in the transport industry
One of the most common questions we get from our students is, “who needs CPC training?” The simple answer for professional lorry, bus, and coach drivers is 'everyone'. The key word here is 'professional' - or in simple terms are you being paid for your services?
Our Periodic Driver CPC Courses are designed for professional drivers who already have the initial driver CPC for professional lorry, bus or coach driving (PCV or HGV licenses). Once obtained, every driver needs to update their Driver CPC card (DQC) within a 5 year period, by completing 35 hours of Periodic Driver CPC approved training. This is an attendance and participation CPC training course involving NO test. We have a suite of 12 Jaupt accredited modules, such as “Driver first aid at work” and “Drivers hours, WTD and tachographs”, applied to real-life scenarios to ensure that you get the most out of each session.

A single day of Driver CPC training must last 7 hours to count toward the mandatory 35 hours that you must take to gain your Driver Qualification Card. Most days are made up of two separate 3 and a half hour modules to provide a wider variety of topics and keep you interested throughout the day. Find out more about our Driver CPC Modules here.
The deadline for your training will be shown on your DQC (Driver Qualification Card). It is totally up to you when to take the training courses before your deadline. You could do 7 hours each year, or wrap it all up in a week. Our courses can accommodate any approach.
If you miss your training deadline, you cannot drive professionally and may face fines if you do. Any training that you have completed before your deadline will still count for 5 years from the date you took the course, as training does not expire in line with your training deadline.
You will automatically receive your DQC once you have completed the required 35 hours’ training. We upload your hours on the DVSA website on the same day that you attend to avoid any unnecessary delays. Find out more on the Government website at www.gov.uk/driver-cpc-training/
